Psychic Readers: Spotting the Real Deal from the Fakes

Wanting answers and guidance is totally normal, but sometimes the psychic world can feel like a maze. Some psychics are the real deal, but others are just trying to take your money.  Here's how to tell the difference:

Beware of the Super Specifics: A legit psychic won't give you a super detailed roadmap of your future. They'll focus on broader insights and possibilities.  Scammers love giving super specific predictions because they use a trick called "cold reading."  They make general statements that could apply to anyone and then watch you react to see what sticks.

Don't Fall for the Expensive Gimmicks: Genuine psychics don't need to charge you an arm and a leg.  They'll offer services at a reasonable price and focus on helping you.  Scammers prey on your worries, charging big bucks for rituals, readings, or "curses" that probably don't even exist. They'll also push you to buy packages or keep coming back.

Look Out for Fear Mongering:  Real psychics are all about transparency and honesty. They encourage you to ask questions and make your own decisions.  Scammers love to make you feel scared and confused, creating a sense of urgency to get you to do what they want.

So, how do you find a legit psychic?

Get recommendations: Ask trusted friends, family, or online communities.

Check out their track record: Do they have good reviews and testimonials?

Pay attention to their vibe:  Do they listen to you, ask questions, and empower you?

Trust your gut: If something feels off, walk away. A real psychic will make you feel safe and respected.

The #psychic world is a mixed bag, so use your head and be careful.  By spotting the red flags and knowing what to look for, you'll be able to navigate the maze and find genuine guidance.
