Why can’t you foretell the future?

Many of the media references to psychics are really about fortune-telling. When will I meet Mr. Right? When will I win the lottery?

Questions that focus on outcomes rarely help us get ahead in life. Instead, I answer the question behind that question, which is, “What is stopping me from meeting Mr. Right?” A question like that opens the door to self-awareness and healing.

The thing is, if you attract Mr. Right without understanding why past relationships haven’t worked, you tend to repeat the pattern. We’ve all known someone who cycled through relationships that seemed to be practically the same each time. However, if we learn to understand what part of us blocked the relationship from being successful, we can heal that part of ourselves and attract the kind of relationship we dream of having.

So if you ask me about relationships, I won’t tell you, “You’re going to meet the partner of your dreams next week on Thursday.” Instead, we’ll talk about your fears about relationships, the beliefs you have about relating to others that are in the way, and

things that are difficult to acknowledge but freeing once we own and release them. Those old beliefs and pictures are like dams on our creative energy. As you heal, creative energy is released so that you can create something new!
